NEW YEAR PARTY
We invite ALL chess players, spectators and friends to our New Year Party at the arena hotel Thon Hotel Gjøvik, starting on the New Year Eve at 20:30 (8.30 pm).
The hotel serves both cold and hot food, desserts and many other kinds of good food.
This will be a very pleasant way to enter 2009! Gjøvik Chessclub 100th-year anniversary will be marked especially. There will be a presentation of high-lights of the Gjøvik chess history, most of all with several strong and well-known chess players, and this presentation will mostly be in English language.
The price for the New year party is 450 NOK which includes the welcome drink and one drinking unit. Half price 225 NOK for children and youth under the age of 17.
